Spots and Stripes
Few can deny the sheer levels of nostalgia evoked by anything Disney related -which is why when I saw that one of my favourite adorable online stores had collaborated with Disney to launch their latest collection, my heart jumped for joy.
I’ve never been exactly sure why, but when I was younger I used to always root for the villain in films rather than for the heroes. (I think maybe it might have something to do with the fact that villains always have cooler clothes.)
That’s why when a version of Cruella de Vil’s had been made, I just knew it had to be mine.
The coat is faux fur so don’t worry. I can assure you that no Dalmatians were harmed in the making of it!
Amazing Japanese Literature
Hey. It’s Mew and welcome to the second ever episode of book club here on my blog. ^_^
As I said in last month’s post, at the end of each month, I will be recommending some of my favourite stories and novels that I got to read throughout the month. And as each episode has a theme, this month we’re going to talk about Japan. I recently found out I would be going to Tokyo next year, so of course I had to channel my excitement by learning as much about the culture as possible. And what better what to do that then through books written by Japanese authors?
Are you ready? Let’s start!
It’s that time of year for my favourite luxury fabric
I don’t know about you but I have always really had this thing with velvet. Whatever it is about the material, I just think that it is so rich, so luxurious and so unbelievably comfortable in the wintertime. It’s the perfect fabric for the cold weather and can make any outfit seem so much darker and enchanting, just by the very way it falls.
Today I came up with a few different looks styled all around this beautiful fabric. I also picked out some pieces that I really think you’ll love. Are you ready? Let’s start.
Welcome to the Grand Hotel Café!
Christmas is coming! And lately I’ve really been enjoying all the sweet desserts and candy-coloured treats that seem to be popping up all over Dublin in preparation for the holiday season.
As a person with a seriously sweet tooth and an obsession with seasonal hot drinks of every variety, you can only imagine my delight when I came across this adorable little scented eyeshadow kit from Too Faced.
The makeup combines all the most loveable and enjoyable elements of Christmas from the mouth-watering aroma of sugar-coated macarons, luxury hot chocolates and shots of syrup in speciality lattes, not to mention a colour palette perfect for the festive season.
Some outfits for the cold weather
The autumn/winter season has always been my favourite time of year for shopping and experimenting with new trends. In fact, the very idea of having the opportunity to wrap up all warm and cosy excites me so much. So today I thought I would share with you some of the looks I have really been enjoying lately. Let’s start!
It’s been a while since I last did an outfit of the day post on this blog, so let’s change that!

Sharing some love for an Autumnal Dublin
This is the campus where I go to college. However most of the time I don’t really get the opportunity to appreciate it because I’m either stuck to a desk in the library or taking shelter from Dublin’s usual rainy skies in a nearby coffee shop.
But today I thought I would go for a walk.
My fashion sanctuary in the creative quarter
If you’ve been following me on my instagram for a while now, then you would know that Om Diva is by no means a new discovery for me. It is however one of my favourite vintage shops in Dublin, if not of all time.
